- 108 years ago I shattered widespread liberal-theology assumptions announcing the greatest discovery that the New-Testament world ever knew: Jesus was not the moral teacher fore-running XIX century bourgeois’ universalistic ethic and society. Jesus was the apocalyptic prophet for whom the idea itself of centuries still-to-come was intrinsically impossible, as God was acting soon in order to bring the story of Israel – and the one of the entire world with it – to its final and climatic point. Dr. Albert Schweitzer took over from me, but thereafter both our works have been largely neglected and our voices slowly became unheard. So I am back again.
